Why my NordVPN account is still inactive?

You've paid for the service, launched NordVPN, but it still insists that you get a plan. Why? The most common reason is that different payment methods require time to be verified. Here's a point of reference for a few of those methods:  

  • Payments via credit card may take up to 40 minutes to be verified.
  • Payments via iDeal (Netherlands) may take up to 40 minutes to be verified.
  • Payments via CoinPayments may take up to 24 hours to be verified.

Alternatively, there's also a small chance that your payment was wrongly flagged for suspicion of fraud. If that’s the case, your payment will be reverted back to your credit card. To complete the purchase, you would need to get in touch with our support and provide proof of non-fraud.
