How to connect to your dedicated IP on macOS

A NordVPN dedicated IP is a unique IP address assigned solely to a specific server, ensuring it's not shared with any other device or network. With a NordVPN dedicated IP, you get improved connection speeds, reduced CAPTCHA requests, and enhanced security through exclusive accessibility.

In this article, you will learn how to locate and connect to your dedicated IP on macOS.

In order for you to be able to connect, first double-check if you have done the following:

  1. Purchased a dedicated IP;
  2. Set up the dedicated IP in your Nord Account.

 

Connecting to your dedicated IP on macOS

If you have purchased a dedicated IP from NordVPN and set it up in your Nord Account, you can proceed with connecting to it on your macOS device by following these steps:

  1. Launch the NordVPN application.
  2. Scroll down to specialty servers:

  3. Hover over the dedicated IP, and click on the three-dot menu:

  4. Next, select your dedicated IP server.

You may also use the search bar located in the top-left corner of the application window.

  1. Type in your dedicated IP address:

  2. Select your dedicated IP:
