I can't log in from a restricted country or network

Introduction

This article explains what to do if you can’t log in to the NordVPN app while connected from a country or network that restricts VPN usage.

NOTE: If you are not able to log in to Nord Account, follow our guide that explains the steps you need to follow.

Before you start

Here’s what to do

  1. Follow any of these guides for your device to connect to a manual connection:
     
  2. Open the NordVPN app and press “Log in.”
  3. Log in using your Nord Account email and password.
  4. Once you log in to the application, disconnect the manual connection.

Additional tips

  • Change your DNS to Cloudflare.
  • Use a different network.
  • Use a different device.
