NordVPN MFA backup codes

NordVPN MFA backup codes are necessary to log into your account in case you have lost access to your account login authentication means.

When setting up MFA on your account initially, you are presented with these backup codes alongside the option to copy or print them.

We highly recommend saving the backup codes in cloud storage or even owning a physical copy in a hidden location.

You can also gain access to your backup codes when in your Account settings.

  1. In Account settings > Multi-factor authentication (MFA), click on Manage MFA.

  2. Verify your email – you should receive a one time use code in the inbox of the email associated with your Nord Account.

  3. Press view code to view your backup codes – here you will also be able to regenerate, copy or print your backup codes if needed.
