How to Set Up NordVPN on Cudy router

In this article, you will learn how to set up a NordVPN connection on your Cudy router. Configuring the VPN directly on your router ensures that all devices connected to your network benefit from a secure connection, as all internet traffic will be routed through the VPN.

To set up a NordVPN connection on your Cudy router, please follow along to these steps:

  1. Open Cudy's admin panel by going to http://cudy.net.
  2. Open General settings.

  3. Click the VPN tab.

  4. Enable the VPN and select your protocol as OpenVPN.

  5. Go to your NordAccount, click on NordVPN and select Set up NordVPN manually.

  6. Click on Server recommendation and select OpenVPN UDP or TCP.

  7. Go back to the VPN tab in the Cudy admin panel and click Browse.

  8. Open the downloaded OpenVPN file.

    Once you have opened the file, you will need to fill in the Username and Password.
     
  9. Go to your NordAccount and copy your Service credentials.

  10. Enter your credentials in the Username and Password section in the Cudy admin panel, and click Save & Apply.

  11.  Open Advanced Settings.

  12. Click on Custom DNS.

  13.  Enter 103.86.96.100 and 103.86.99.100 into the Preferred DNS Alternate DNS fields respectively.

Once you have saved and applied the DNS, your NordVPN connection will be ready.
