In this article, you will learn how to set up a NordVPN connection on your Cudy router. Configuring the VPN directly on your router ensures that all devices connected to your network benefit from a secure connection, as all internet traffic will be routed through the VPN.
To set up a NordVPN connection on your Cudy router, please follow along to these steps:
- Open Cudy's admin panel by going to http://cudy.net.
- Open General settings.
- Click the VPN tab.
- Enable the VPN and select your protocol as OpenVPN.
- Go to your NordAccount, click on NordVPN and select Set up NordVPN manually.
- Click on Server recommendation and select OpenVPN UDP or TCP.
- Go back to the VPN tab in the Cudy admin panel and click Browse.
- Open the downloaded OpenVPN file.
Once you have opened the file, you will need to fill in the Username and Password.
- Go to your NordAccount and copy your Service credentials.
- Enter your credentials in the Username and Password section in the Cudy admin panel, and click Save & Apply.
- Open Advanced Settings.
- Click on Custom DNS.
- Enter 103.86.96.100 and 103.86.99.100 into the Preferred DNS & Alternate DNS fields respectively.
Once you have saved and applied the DNS, your NordVPN connection will be ready.
