How to connect to your dedicated IP on iOS

A NordVPN dedicated IP is a unique IP address assigned solely to a specific server, ensuring it's not shared with any other device or network. With the NordVPN dedicated IP, you get improved connection speeds, reduced CAPTCHA requests, and enhanced security through exclusive accessibility.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to locate and connect to your purchased and assigned NordVPN dedicated IP.

While using dedicated IP with a OpenVPN protocol, you can connect up to 10 devices, however NordLynx only supports one. Dedicated IP is not available via browser extension or the IKEv2 protocol.

In order to connect, double-check if you have done the following:

Purchased a dedicated IP;
Set up the dedicated IP in your Nord Account.

Connecting to your NordVPN dedicated IP on iOS

To connect to your NordVPN dedicated IP on your iOS device, follow along to the steps below:

Open your NordVPN app.
Enable the OpenVPN (UDP), OpenVPN (TCP), or NordLynx protocol.
In the homepage, scroll to specialty servers:
Tap dedicated IP:
Tap on your dedicated IP to connect:

Alternatively, you can connect by typing in your dedicated IP address into the search bar. To get connected using this method, follow the steps below:

Type your dedicated IP into the search bar:
Tap your dedicated IP to connect:

After completing the steps, you will have connected to your dedicated IP successfully. If you wish to test your connection, visit NordVPN's DNS leak checker website.

Please be aware that your email will be linked to that dedicated IP address.
