Introduction
This article explains how to set up NordVPN on your Chromebook to secure your internet connection. We will cover the three main methods available, helping you choose the best one for your needs.
Before you start
- Please note that some older Chromebook models may not support the NordVPN Android application.
- Your Chromebook must be connected to the internet to download and set up the VPN.
Here's what to do
- Install the NordVPN Android App:
- Find and open the Google Play Store on your Chromebook.
- Search for NordVPN and select the app from the results.
- Click "Install" to download and install the application.
- Once installed, open the app and log in with your credentials.

- Install the NordVPN Chrome extension:
NOTE: This method only secures your internet traffic within the Chrome browser. It will not protect other apps or services running on your Chromebook.
- Navigate to the Chrome Web Store.
- Click "Add to Chrome."
- When prompted, confirm by clicking "Add extension."
- Once installed, click the jigsaw piece icon at the upper-right corner of your browser to access the "Extensions" tab.
- Click the NordVPN icon to launch the NordVPN extension.
- Log in with your Nord Account.
