Making sure there are no issues with your account

There are a few account-related reasons why you can’t connect to our servers:

  1. Confirm that you are using the correct password.

    Go to the Nord Account page and try logging in. If you forgot your password, you can retrieve it following these steps.

    Note: If you are having trouble remembering your password, download a free password manager - NordPass. It generates secure passwords when needed and stores them safely, letting you avoid time-wasting password resets in the future.
     
  2. Make sure that your account is active.

    Go to the Nord Account page, and check the status of your account there. Make sure you see Active status under the NordVPN service.
