Problem
You encounter a problem during the NordVPN tvOS app installation or update process.
Common symptoms
- The installation does not start.
- The installation starts but never finishes.
- The app still shows an outdated version after attempting to update.
Troubleshooting steps
NOTE: Check if the issue has been resolved after each step.
- See for outstanding tvOS updates (NordVPN is supported on tvOS from tvOS 17):
- Open the “Settings” app.
- Go to “System.”
- Go to “Software updates.”
- Select “Update software.”
- If an update is available, select “Download” and “Install.”
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall the NordVPN app:
- Find the NordVPN app on the home screen of your tvOS device.
- Press and hold the clickpad (or the touch surface) of your remote.
- Select “Delete app” and confirm your choice.
- Installing the NordVPN app again from the Apple App Store.
