A group of NordVPN customers have received an email inviting them to update their payment details.
If you are a part of this group, please note that you will not be charged when updating your payment details. If your subscription is due to be charged, we will send you a reminder via email. We’re asking for this to be done so that we can improve our payment systems and ensure a smoother experience.
In addition, as a symbol of our thanks for your commitment, if you update your payment details by the deadline mentioned in the email, you become eligible for 1 month of NordVPN service for free, which will be added within 14 days of updating the payment details.
You can change your payment details by:
- clicking the button in the email itself;
- manually changing your payment details via Nord Account.
Changing payment details via Nord Account
To change your payment details in your Nord Account, follow these steps:

- Log in to your Nord Account.
- Go to the billing section:
- Go to subscriptions tab and click update next to your existing payment method:
- Then you can update your payment details in 2 ways:

- by filling in your card information and clicking update;
- by continuing to PayPal and authenticating your payment method there.

After you’re done with these steps - you’ve successfully changed your payment details.
