Resetting your application preferences on macOS

To reset your NordVPN application settings on macOS, follow these steps:

  1. Close the NordVPN application completely by right-clicking the NordVPN in the Dock and selecting Quit.
  2. Open the Terminal by pressing Command + space bar and typing ‘terminal’ in the search field.
  3. In the Terminal, run these commands:

    defaults delete com.nordvpn.osx-apple (if the application was downloaded from the App Store)
    defaults delete com.nordvpn.osx (if the application was downloaded directly from our website)
  4. Open the NordVPN application and check if the issue was solved.
