I forgot my NordVPN password

Problem

If you've forgotten your Nord Account password, you won't be able to log in with your email and password. 

Keep in mind that you may still be able to access your account using a one-time login code sent to your email or by signing in with a linked Google or Apple account, if available.

 

Common symptoms

  • When you try to log in with your password, you get the “The password you entered is incorrect. Please try again” error message.

 

Troubleshooting steps

If you're having trouble logging into your NordVPN account because you’ve forgotten your password, here's how you can reset it:

  1. Go to the Nord Account login page and click the “Forgot your password?” button.
  2. Enter your email address and click the “Send” button.
  3. Open the password reset email and click the “Reset Password” button.
  4. Enter your new password and click the “Create password” button.

 

Additional tips

  • Never reuse old passwords.
  • Make sure to create a strong password that contains 12 characters, a combination of upper and lowercase letters, and a healthy mix of special characters and numbers.
  • Consider using the NordPass password manager to easily create, store, and manage strong, unique passwords for all your online accounts.
