This article is available in FrenchGerman, Spanish, and Italian.

You can manually configure DNS servers in your macOS settings. We have a separate guide for configuring DNS servers on devices using the latest macOS Ventura version.

Manual DNS server configuration

  1. Go to “System preferences” and click on “Network.”

Changing DNS servers on macOS begins by clicking the “Network” menu in “System preferences”
  2. Select the network interface you are using and click “Advanced.”

DNS configuration options can be found by clicking the “Advanced” button of your Ethernet connection
  3. Open the “DNS” tab and click the “+” button at the bottom, then add the NordVPN DNS server addresses:

    103.86.96.100
    103.86.99.100

The “DNS” tab lets you manually input the IP address of the DNS servers you’d like to use

Congratulations! You have changed your macOS device’s DNS servers to those of NordVPN.
