To reset your preferences on the NordVPN Windows app, follow these steps:
- On your keyboard, click on the “Windows” key or press on the “Windows” icon at the bottom of your screen.
(Note: These images were taken from Windows 11, but a similar button can be found on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10)
- In the search bar, type "NordVPN Diagnostics.”
- Open it and click "Yes" in the window that asks for permission to make changes.
- Click "Reset app."

- Now, log back in to the app and see whether the issue persists.
