Resetting your app preferences on Windows | NordVPN support

To reset your preferences on the NordVPN Windows app, follow these steps:

  1. On your keyboard, click on the “Windows” key or press on the “Windows” icon at the bottom of your screen.

    (Note: These images were taken from Windows 11, but a similar button can be found on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10)

  2. In the search bar, type "NordVPN Diagnostics.”
    To reset NordVPN preferences, you will need to run NordVPN Diagnostics using the search bar
  3. Open it and click "Yes" in the window that asks for permission to make changes.
  4. Click "Reset app."

  5. Now, log back in to the app and see whether the issue persists.
