Troubleshooting steps for streaming

If you're having issues with certain streaming services while using NordVPN, follow these basic steps to resolve them.

1. Make sure your connection is not leaking any data - DNS, IPv6, and WebRTC are the most common leaks.
    To make sure your connection is set up properly, check whether your status is "Protected" on our website.

   
If you are connected to one of our servers but your status is "Unprotected",  proceed to the next steps to make sure your connection is secure.

2. To stop any leaks from your connection, follow these tutorials:
    • Change DNS servers manually
    • WebRTC leak prevention
    • Disable IPv6

3. If your connection is not leaking but you are still unable to access your streaming service, please try clearing the cache of your browser. You can do so by following this guide: https://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2480401,00.asp .
