How can we help you?

Checking your device configuration

1. Add exceptions for the NordVPN application to your antivirus, cleaner, power saver applications. Any of the latter applications can interfere with our application as it runs it the background all the time while you are connected. This can result in unstable connections, or the inability to connect at all.

2. Make sure that you do not have any firewall applications running. Firewall applications on android devices use the same VPN interface as our application and so our application will not be able to make any connections while a firewall application is active on the device.

3. Try changing the DNS servers that are configured:

  • Open the Settings on the device.
  • Select “Wi-Fi”.
  • Long press your current network, then select “Modify network”.
  • Mark “Show advanced options” check box.
  • Change “IP settings” to “Static”
  • Add the DNS servers IPs to the “DNS 1”, and “DNS 2” fields. Our DNS servers are these: 103.86.96.100 and 103.86.99.100
  • Press “Save” button, disconnect from the network, and reconnect for changes to take effect

4. Try reseting your network settings:

  • Tap on “Settings”
  • Click on “Backup & reset”
  • Tap on “Network settings reset”
  • Click on “Reset Settings”
  • If set pattern lock on your device, use it to continue process
  • Tap on again “Reset Settings” to reset all network settings
